Duration: 6 Months

Personal Support Worker (PSW) Program

Prepare for a rewarding career on the frontlines of care. This program equips learners with skills and hands-on experience for long-term care, hospitals, and home care environments.

  • Designed for newcomers and career changers
  • Integrated job placement through WorkersFirst

Outcome: Graduates will be qualified to work as Personal Support Workers across Ontario.

Administration

Duration: 4-6 Months

Administrative Assistant Program (Healthcare Focus)

Support the system behind the care. This program prepares you for roles in healthcare administration—from hospitals to public health offices.

  • Training in office admin, medical terminology, and digital tools
  • Focus on healthcare-specific administration environments
  • Ideal for career transitions from general admin to healthcare
  • Prepares for roles like unit clerk, intake specialist, and scheduler

Outcome: Graduates will be prepared for administrative roles across healthcare organizations.

Nursing

IEN Career Pathway Program (Comprehensive)

A full-service program to support internationally educated nurses toward Canadian licensure and employment.

  • One-on-one case management
  • Financial assistance for exam fees & credentialing
  • Access to targeted educational prep courses
  • Support for career integration in Canada

Outcome: Designed for IENs needing support with licensure, certification, and job placement in Canada.

Nursing

Duration: 12 Weeks

Nursing Exam Preparation Stream (Education-Only)

A focused academic stream for IENs preparing for licensing exams with flexible course delivery.

  • REx-PN, OSCE, and exam-style prep with test-taking strategies
  • Flexible delivery: online, in-person, or hybrid
  • Certificate of Completion on participation

Outcome: Ideal for self-funded IENs needing academic readiness support.

Language

Duration: Flexible

IEN English Language Proficiency Course

Online course designed to help IENs meet CELBAN and CNO language requirements.

  • Medical terminology, communication, documentation
  • CELBAN prep exercises and simulations
  • Healthcare-specific language fluency

Outcome: Prepares IENs for CELBAN and effective clinical communication in Canada.

Culture

Duration: 5 Hours (Self-paced)

Canadian Culture: A Pathway to Belonging

A self-paced course helping newcomers adapt to Canadian workplace norms and cultural expectations in healthcare.

  • Cultural awareness and workplace integration
  • Understanding of rights, values, and professional norms
  • Improved confidence in new environments

Outcome: Participants gain social inclusion skills and cultural readiness for the healthcare workforce.
